7 WAYS TO ELEVATE YOUR IELTS WRITING IMMEDIATELY ???

1️⃣ Stop saying “very”.

Don’t say: a very big house
Say: an enormous house

Don’t say: a very important decision
Say: a crucial decision

Don’t say: a very clear solution
Say: an obvious solution

2️⃣ Do not begin your sentences with “There is” or “It is”.

Don’t say: There are two possible solution for the government to choose from.
Say: The government should choose between two possible solutions.

Don’t say: It is important to introduce new policy.
Say: Introducing new policy is important.

3️⃣ Use strong verbs

Don’t say: He went around the world
Say: He traveled around the world

Don’t say: Get an offer from a university
Say: Receive an offer from a university

4️⃣ Avoid Phrasal verbs.

Don’t say: Give out free items.
Say: Offer free times.

Don’t say: Make up a new idea
Say: Create a new idea

5️⃣ Do not use contractions.
